By participating in Maryland EXCELS, our programs display a commitment to quality and excellence for our growing community. Our Preschool Program focuses on kindergarten readiness, preparing your child for the future. Maryland Excels accreditation enforces our commitment to higher educational standards.
Why is the Maryland Excels accreditation important?
Location and cost are important, but more important is the third factor when making a decision about care – quality. From years of research about early childhood, one concept remains true: the early years are extremely important to a child’s ability to succeed in school. As parents, you must be certain your children has access to quality child care and early education, so they are ready for the next challenge. Our programs will maintain this accreditation to better serve our community.
The Creative Children's Center is fully accredited by Maryland State Department of Education. We are committed to maintaining educational excellence and continuous quality improvement to benefit the children, families, and staff of our community. This accreditation focuses on our center's policies, program improvements, and home and community partnerships. MSDE Accreditation is a part of the broader Maryland Excels system.
